What we do
Our Care

Healthy Development
We pour our hearts into raising each Highland Lynx kitten with love and care from day one. Our kittens are more than pets—they’re part of the family. They’re handled every day, so they grow up feeling safe, loved, and ready to connect with their future families. With playful spirits and a natural curiosity, they get plenty of time to climb, explore, and snuggle, making them affectionate, well-socialized companions who are ready to bring joy to your home.

Socialization
Our kittens are raised in the heart of our home, where they’re treated like family from day one. We focus on their growth, health, and happiness, ensuring they receive lots of daily interaction, playtime, and a comforting routine. This loving environment helps them become well-adjusted, confident companions, making their transition to their forever homes as smooth and joyful as possible.

Health Guarantee
Our kittens go to their new homes only after a complete wellness check at our trusted local veterinary clinic during the week of pickup (at a minimum of 10-12 weeks of age). Each kitten comes with a wellness health certificate, deworming, and their first vaccination (distemper), unless you prefer otherwise. We ensure a healthy kitten free of serious genetic/birth defects up until 6 months of age.

Starting Kit
To make your kitten’s transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we provide a thoughtful starting kit packed with essentials and goodies! Included are their favorite toy to bring a sense of familiarity, a bag of the cat food they’re accustomed to, an ear cleaning kit, a comb for keeping their coat beautiful, a claw trimmer, and healthy freeze-dried treats. These items will help you start your journey together with everything your new Highland Lynx needs for comfort, care, and fun!

Responsibility
Pet Adoption Agreement
No Breeding Right will be Granted
Our kittens are available exclusively as companion pets and are not intended for breeding. To ensure this, a non-breeding contract must be signed, and we require proof of neutering once the kitten reaches six months of age or is otherwise ready for the procedure. If this condition is not met, we reserve the right to reclaim the kitten. This policy helps us uphold the health, quality, and well-being of our beloved Highland Lynx lineage.
Declawing is strictly prohibited
Declawing is a harmful and unnecessary procedure that involves the removal of a cat’s claws, which are essential for their physical and emotional well-being. This procedure can lead to lifelong pain, behavioural issues, and mobility problems for the cat. At Lynx Kingdom Cattery, we are dedicated to the health and welfare of our kittens, and therefore, we strictly prohibit declawing. If we learn that a kitten has been declawed, we reserve the right to reclaim the kitten to ensure it receives the compassionate care it deserves.
Shelter and Unnecessary Euthanize Prevention
At Lynx Kingdom Cattery, we are committed to the lifelong well-being of our kittens. To protect them from the risk of abandonment or unnecessary euthanasia, each kitten is microchipped with our cattery as the primary contact and the new owner as the secondary contact. This ensures that if unforeseen circumstances arise, we can be notified and assist in finding a safe, loving solution. This policy helps provide every kitten with a secure future and reinforces our commitment to responsible pet ownership.
